Studio dog portraits are a beautiful way to capture the essence of an animal without distraction. The true beauty of that creature is front and centre with all the little details of fur, eyes, mood, and personality. It’s a truly special way to capture your dog’s image and something is not easily done by yourself. An animal portrait photographer with the right equipment and skills can realize this for you. The resulting fine art piece is a treasure that will keep giving back over time – you’ll have a permanent piece to remember your friend forever, and a beautiful piece to enhance your home.
Pre-pandemic this year, these four handsome dogs came to visit our studio for their dog portraits. Two of these sessions were photographed in secret as gift portraits for husbands. How nice is that?
Stanley is a handsome English Cream Golden Retriever. I’m pretty sure he’s named after the coveted Stanley Cup. 🙂
Roscoe was still a puppy when he came in earlier this year for his studio dog portrait. His fluffy wheaten terrier coat reminds me of a muppet.
Bobby was a champ – we knew and waited for his famous crossed paws. Such a handsome black lab.
Your dog is an important part of your family. If you’re looking to have a formal portrait made of your best friend, or you think this would make an awesome gift for your favourite dog lover, please get in touch.
